Jason Lives!
He does: he got traded to Pittsburgh.
I am surprised this has happened more than once
ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo
Pirates are 1st team w/ 3 straight HR, 1 of which was inside the park, since '99 Phillies (Scott Rolen, Rico Brogna, Ron Gant).
Gophers lead W. Illinois by the unusual score of 15-12. No field goals. Two missed conversions by the Leathernecks and a 2-pt conversion by the Gophers. Coach Jerry Kill had another seizure just before halftime.
Akron (37 points dogs) are leading Michigan late at The Big House
Michigan survives. boo
Just $143 shy of my goal for my Kickstarter. Two more spots remain to be drawn into the game. It also looks like I'll be shooting a video of a live game tonight, so long as the people that are supposed to be here show up. I've also been contacted by a game developer who runs a decently-sized company who might be interested in bringing me on if this thing is produced successfully. Well, for fun!
I donated!
first time giving money to a Kickstarter thing
First time for many of my donors, actually. Thanks, wattsy!
So, that's pretty awesome, congrats spooky. I'll pimp the game to my analog gaming friends for sure.
Thanks. The second we hit budget, we're going to work, so the sooner the better. If I had a video up already we'd have hit already, but the people who were supposed to be involved in that flaked out the first time.
Your analog friends might also be interested in the games on my websites. Fresh meat!!!
I'm what now?
Oh, you.
Defeating Chelsea for the first win of the season is always nice. If only Jelavic could get off the schneid (although his header to set up the goal was a thing of beauty).
Different game, but Altidore was robbed!

Would have loved to see how that game turns out if it's tied up there.
Saw him pop by the camera during a dugout shot last night. Weird to see him back in that uniform.
It looks like Lost Coast brews have made their way to Wisconsin. I'm ok with this.
Sweet!
My personal favorites from their lineup include the 8-Ball Stout, Winterbraun, and the Great White. The Downtown Brown is also worth a try. Lots of people like the Alleycat Amber -- that's a style that leaves me fairly cold, so I'm not much of a judge. The Indica is good, but there are better IPAs out here, so I rarely get it.
Huskers blew an 18-point lead at home to UCLA. Nice.
They not only blew the lead, they got blown out. Outscored by 31-0 in the second half.
Nebraska strikes me as the Dallas Cowboys of college football. They think of themselves as a great team just going through a little down spell, and that with just a little tweak here or there they'll find the right combination and be great again. They don't want to admit that the world has changed, and that those great teams they used to have are a long time ago.
that is an awesome observation, Padre
can't wait to hear DPWY b!tch about Bo.
I taped the game and watched through the early part of the 4th quarter. Yikes. Awful 3rd quarter performance, and the first-half performance was not all that impressive either. Bo seems to have entirely abandoned Nebraska power-running football, which is a mistake IMO. They were starting to dominate the line play in the second quarter, then completely forgot about running the ball. And Martinez...does not impress me.
But give UCLA some credit. They exploited Nebraska's weaknesses pretty efficiently.
lastly, ditch the black jerseys. Dumb gimmick. Big Red is the brand, Bo. Get back to it.
Got to sell jerseys, don't ya know.
Heh, I didn't watch, so no bitching. I was watching the Toffies take it to Chelsea instead. I checked out on the Bo Pelini Era last year.
