   3. My first reaction was surprise that they moved the game to China.

2. FSN listed Tim Duncan as an international player. He was born in the US Virgin Islands.

   1. Similar status to Puerto Rico.
      PR has a separate team in the WBC, and Puertoriqueños are considered foriegn players in MLB.
      Gardy was an Military brat and although born in Germany, is not a foriegn player.

      Mmmm.... German Brat.

   2. Speaking of brats, I picked up some apple/gouda and wild rice sausages from Kramarczuk's last week. They. Were. Awesome.

4. so much for hearing Sinatra's "South of the Border" 500 times during the broadcast tonight. (that was going to be my drinking game suggestion)

6. This pregame show goes to show how little news content FSN puts in their production (this goes for all their sports the cover).
   All FSN has its hosts and sideline questioners, but no one with news chops.

7. I will say, radio guy Alan Horton and tv play by play guy Dave Benz has been all over this on Twitter.

   1. Yeah, that was hilarious. The PBP guy was tweeting that the game was off and that the team had left. Meanwhile on TV we have "no official word".

   2. I think Alan Horton does an excellent job. I'm really not much of a Wolves fan, but if I'm in the car while they're playing I'll turn the game on just to listen to Horton's play-by-play.

      1. He is so good at what he does. And its a one man show. I would probably rate him second best in the Twins Cities for play by play guys behind Bob Kurtz for the Wild. ( I am partial to the Wolves radio team because I worked with the studio host John for many years before he made it bigtime)
