We continue our series of previews of playoffs that started a couple of days ago.

Again, we start with the standings:

Anzoategui, 39-24
Zulia, 34-29
Caracas, 34-29
Magallanes, 33-30
La Guaira 32-31
Aragua, 29-34
Lara, 28-35
Margarita, 23-40

The top five teams make the playoffs.  They play a sixteen-game round robin, with the top two teams playing a best-of-seven series to determine the champion.

On a personal note, I think round-robin playoffs are awesome and would love to see major league baseball institute them, although I know it's not going to happen.
