Kevin Martin for Theo Ratliff's expiring contract !
Corey Brewer for the return of Michael Beasley !
It's the return of BAJ!
TuriBlock!
We could combine ideas and just call him Blockblock.
Blockriaf!
Benchasaurus!
Big Al and Anthony Tolliver ! ! !
I don't think he called two hops off the top of the backboard on that shot.
man alive, Pek is destroying pretty much anybody getting in his way.
He was inspired by those big heads the other night.
that was a solid half of basketball
Solid half!
PEKSMASH
Remember, the goal is to get to 110 by the end of the third, so that the dregs of our bench at least have a chance off getting to 140.
nobody can stop Pek.
Hi guys! I see the pattern is very much alive.
Also, holy Pek-Balls!
Q: What did Kevin Love say to BAJ?
A: "We're up by 31."
I feel like Corey Brewer only taking one two shots is the key to a nearly 30 point lead.
I think Brewer should take all of our shots, play center on defense, and play point guard on offense.
Dunkiaf!
104-81 when the starters all left. Let's see what the final score is!
Pek's final line 10-14, 6-6 FT's = 26 points.
very. nice.
He still has trouble finishing at the rim sometimes. But what he does well (getting solid position very low on the block), he does better than just about anybody.
can he shoot the 12-foot jumper? I've seen him very little, but the recent games I've seen, he showed really good touch and footwork down low. But I don't think I saw him take anything longer than about 6 feet (on a hook shot).
DeMarcus Cousins is elevation-challenged as well, but has (a) quick feet and (b) solid acceptable range to 15-18 feet. Those things help him get to the rim a lot.
Pek shot chart. He takes the vast majority (~85 pct) of his shots from 8 ft or less (which is good) and makes 56 pct. Outside of 8 feet, he stinks. Would love to see him add that short jumper to his arsenal next year. That would make him an All Star.
At least he's aware of his limitations. Remember when Wally Szcerqbiak decided he needed to become a more all around player and started dribbling? Oy!
Pek has taken about 5 or 6 'jump shots' (used loosely) from the free throw line area. That not really his game. He just plants himself in the restricted area about beats on bodies and wears them down.

The Wolves are still on track for 64-18!
