another game not on FSN.
Blazers announcers. Sigh.
Oh boy I guess.
Did that announcer just suggest that Shved elbowed that dude on purpose while driving to the hole?
Bad bench tonight.

Please forgive Blazer announcers..they are pressured by team to be positive. @tweetdavebenz and I are lucky to not be under same pressure.
I feel like the play by play guy isn't too bad, but the color guy is hard to listen to.
Amazing that that team influence extends to their online fans.
not so good at the rebound game tonight.
I like to see Pek dunking.
well, at least the moves to get you there were nice, ricky.
Pretty good stretch here for the hometown five.
I don't get to see too much T-Wolves action, but whenever I'm watching, Brewer always seems to play just fine.
Then, please, watch more often.
God this bench is death.
JJ is the worst. I miss Ridnour.
Never thought I'd see the day where I had this like that, yet this entire season has brought that up. JJ is the worst.
too bad the Wolves haven't been able to draft any point guards recently.
After watching the Wolves the last two games, I have the sense that Shved might be turning into a useful player who will eventually squeeze JJ's minutes. Bud's shooting touch could come back any time, please. Cunningham is a guy who shouldn't be getting more than garbage time. Turiaf is a useful 10-15 min/g energy guy in the front court.
More generally, this team really needs someone who is a real threat on the mid-post in the halfcourt. Love needs to add more of a back-to-the-basket game to become the complete player that he can be and to help the team in the halfcourt. Pek impresses me with suprisingly nimble "feetwork" (as Shaq would say) and touch from inside about 6 feet, but I wish he had range out to 12 feet. And, oh my god, Rubio. If it weren't for layups he'd never make a shot. How can he be so bad on jumpers? Inconceivable.
Pek isn't afraid to make a 12 footer if he's wide open. He did that last night.
I have posted his shot charts before. He is awful outside of six feet, that one jumper notwithstanding.
I guess 37% from 10-15 is nothing to write home about, but I would also guess that a lot of those are wild hook shots where he gets pushed out of his zone while he's making his move. The fact that he shoots 34% from 3-9 feet backs that up. What that really means is that he's getting the shots that he wants by the basket. I don't think offensive spacing is an issue on this team (excepting Barea).
I don't understand why they can't let AJ Price get more minutes when bad JJ is in the house or why Prince doesn't get more minutes over the ham.
they are so desperate for points from the second unit, that's why. Has Price shown any ability to score? (answer: not really; he started 22 games last year for Washington and averaged 9 ppg in 26 minutes/g in those 22.
I get that idea, but when they have bad JJ, he's doing worse than not scoring, he's preventing anyone else from scoring.
That is what drives me crazy. He dribbles in a circle for 15 seconds while everyone else just stands around.
a wild hook from 10-15 is really, really a wild hook from Pek.
according to NBA Stats, he's 4/15 from around the FT line on the season (27 pct).
Basically, he only ever shoots inside the restricted area (289/510) or at the right edge of the lane (16/45).
Say good night, Gracie.
I guess the Wolves will just have to settle for 60-22!
