The Twins are in fifth place, but just four games behind the Tigers. The division has returned to mediocrity and with the Twins at the bottom, it's a lot more fun.

Yesterday, Jeff Sullivan listed the biggest over- and underachievers by position. He limited it to the positions that were at least two wins over or under projections so far in the season. One Twin made it on the list:

    1. Eh, until now, he hasn't taken a game off this season- it's about time to let him sit one out.

      I just wish it didn't mean the debut of Nunez at shortstop. I'm anticipating error(s).

    1. Ugh, yeah. I was hoping I might be wrong, but Nunez looks just as incompetent at SS as he did when he was a Yankee.

    2. I had the radio on for the pregame show and Gardy was hesitant to move Escobar to second, but did it anyway because he didnt want to stick Nunez there.

  2. It must be a summer Friday. Twitchy is pitching in the top of the ninth and the Twins are winning 1-0 and yet only 11 LTEs.

    1. Nathan's been good enough to sign 3 huge contracts in his career. It's all gotta end sometime.
