I stayed up until 3 last night. Well, 3 so far, at the time of this writing.

Heh, I figured your title today was going to refer to the Twins of recent days.
I've seen very, very little Twins baseball since the World Cup started. I keep planning on catching a game but the times don't match up with my schedule. As they've been so bad, I haven't made a point to go out of my way.
Same here. I really haven't even bothered to follow a game on gameday. Four years in a row of this pattern of some hope followed by a lengthy string of games where they basically have no chance to win wears a man down, especially when there's a really entertaining World Cup on.
Just got the "Is it 2014 yet?" banner. I haz a sad.
That's funny (sad) as I thought the same thing last night. As the author of that banner I was thinking of changing it to 2016.
Well, this has been an exciting day so far. The trinket received her first wasp sting. She was on her plastic play set thing when they swarmed her, getting her on the side of her nose. The good news is she doesn't appear to be allergic, but it's still no fun.
Geez, Robben should be penalty kicking right now.
Looked like they gave him a make-up call.
Yeah, seemed that way. The way the match was going, though, I don't think it would have gone real far into extra time anyway.
That said, after seeing the replay from behind, the dude clearly stepped on his foot so I'm not too broken up about it. Plus it keeps Robben playing, who was way fun to watch when he had the ball today.
Atteberry just tweeted that Parmelee is starting in center today. Gibson is going to get all ground balls, right?
And he's batting third. I understand sometimes you need to shape things up but sheesh.
Yeah, this smacks more of desperation than inspiration.
Roster flexibility!
VH1 is showing old SNL (it's one channel down from ESPN and I'm waiting for the next World Cup game) and Of Monsters and Men are the musicial guest. Their girl guitarist/singer is the latest addition to the "cute musicians I have a thing for" list. Their trumpeter may be added too with further research, but I never got a good glimpse in this broadcast.
I find it hard to tell if Altuve is honestly a good player or if he just sticks out because the rest of the Astros roster is that bad.
He is 10th in AL WAR (position players)
This is also Altuve's best season by far. Previous season high in rWAR was 1.4 and he's at 3.0 now.
Cheers fellas, thanks for the enlightenment. I'm glad to see he's really that good, because he's one of my favorite non-Twins.
YES YES YES YES
Mike Berardino @MikeBerardino
Gardy suggested we will see more of Parmelee in center as long as he keeps hitting.
I saw your lead-in on the sidebar and thought perhaps Trevor May was getting called up
Wow. That's really something.
Jason Bartlett probably regrets his decision to retire.
Hey, when you get the chance to take a guy who isn't a good corner outfielder and play him in center, you gotta do it.
Willingham-Parmelee-Arcia
That has to be the slowest outfield ever.
