  1. Who changed his german score from 2-1 to 2-0, 10 minutes before the game. This guy. Talk about giving me 4 points and taking 4 points away in the span of 60 seconds.

    1. When I saw the score was 0-0 at full time, I figured my 2-1 had no chance. Well done getting that last, ultimately meaningless goal, Algerians!
      I'm only 12 points from Yahoo's overall leaders (both of them)! Is there a $10,000 reward for top bracket?

      1. Without that buzzer beater, it'd be a three way tie.

        I was watching the last ten minutes of the game at the gym, and when they went 2-0, I was ecstatic. I almost fell off of the eliptical when Algeria scored.

    2. Ugh, I left the house at 2-0 in the 118th minute thinking I had bonus points. I've gotten every result right in the knockouts, but doing woefully with the scores.

        1. I've gotten all the matches and half of the scores right.
          (And I'm giving myself another 4 points in my head for the Brazil-Chile score, not realizing that I could have a team win with a draw score.)
          (And then I'm subtracting 4 points for not understanding that Soccer isn't just "Ice Hockey on Grass with different equipment and no arms".)
