Suddenly it's very clear why the team has lost so many games over that time period.
I don't know that number of different pitchers to start a game is all that interesting. For context, the Tigers have used 19 pitchers in that same stretch - only two more per season than the Twins. More telling is the number of starts given to bad starting pitchers.
Appears can't do it easily for all teams. Not so random selections:
Astros: 24.
Athletics: 25.
Cubs: 27.
Indians: 18.
Marlins: 27.
Mets: 24.
Royals: 22.
Tigers: 18.
White Sox: 20.

I went ahead and made it so both are acceptable, because I figure if I misspelled it, someone else will too.
Hey sean, WGOM search doesn't seem to be working for me. I was wanting to find my ID the AU and find who I haven't posted yet, but I get nothing meaningful back.
Where are you doing the search? The search on any page seems to only check contents of posts. To search comments has to be done via the dashboard comments page.
just clicking the red magnifying glass at the top of the page, seemed the obvious choice

Scratch that, I found the "renew" button. Let me know if you don't get an email.
I didn't, but I see that I got added to the league anyway, so I'm all good.
Can you name the active Twins leader in stolen bases?

BREAKING: Actor Robin Williams has died at age 63, @MarinSheriff confirms
Whoa, crazy. I just watched Hook last night, so eerie.
Whoa is right. He was always one of my favorite comedians. That's not a popular sentiment in some circles - and you didn't have to like his work to respect him, so no judgement on those who didn't laugh at his humor - but I'll be darned if I didn't always enjoy watching him, even in his more generic fare.
I enjoyed him more in his dramatic roles
I'm with you guys. What Dreams May Come still sticks as one of my favorites of his, but it's a long list of movies I enjoyed, comedic or dramatic.
He's not popular among comedians because he regularly stole material. I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to, though.
I never liked his comedic acting, but I kind of loved him as a dramatic actor.
the world according to garp ftw
This news suddenly doesn't seem nearly as important:
The #MNTwins trade Josh Willingham to the Royals for minor league RHP Jason Adam. Joe Mauer activated from DL to take Willingham's spot.— Minnesota Twins (@Twins) August 11, 2014
Denard Span has reached safely on base 36 consecutive games.
He has a slash line of .306/.360/.412 /.772 OPS+115
Good for him!
One good thing about having older kids, you can get them stuff for their birthday that if they don't want, you can take. This is what I got my newly minted 19 year old yesterday for his birthday.
#dadwinning
That is awesome.
Is Kevin Slowey completely out of baseball? The Marlins DFA'd him a while ago and he doesnt have any minor league stats on b-r
I can't find anything on him either. Not that he was ever great, but there are worse pitchers who have jobs.
Yeah, the whole thing seems strange to me.
I have an inquiry in ... we'll see if I get a response.
Only got half of this week's FilmWise Invisibles:

Whoa, I missed some obvious ones.
This would be a good Sporcle game.
I tried, but I got confused on how to make it so I gave up. hahaha
I'm on it. Give me 5.
Update: Here ya go
Oof, the spelling on a few is off. If one of them was right, I got 18/27.
#s 1&2 - Thank you, good catches
#3 - That's how DW listed them, and I was in copy/paste mode so I didn't even notice.
All three are corrected. Please anyone let me know if they find anything else.
Oooh, let's see if this works
[ed: Fixed that for you. Needs to be either https or schemaless.]
Hendricks should be Hendriks
Meh, I prefer Hendrick's...
