Before we begin, I'd like to mention to those reading that if you're not yet a voter and would like to be, please let me know. You can join any time!
Also, if you haven't been following Coffeyville Whirlwind, Scot continues to do bios for our electees.
22 voters plunked down ballot this time around. 17 votes were needed for election, and 6 votes were needed to avoid eternal shame. Three players had one final chance to get elected.
With 77% of the vote, Dan Brouthers is a first-ballot Half-Baked-Haller. Will Kent Hrbek be able to say the same?
First in war, first in peace, first time National to be elected. With 82% of the vote, Delahanty gets his face immortalized.
The first three people who submitted a ballot all told Kid to take a hike, but the final 19 ballots told him to have a giant lollipop and welcomed him into the Half-Baked Hall. With 86% of the vote, Nichols pulls down the highest vote total yet for an electee.
Remaining On The Ballot (17 Players)
Not a lot of movement for these guys. Glasscock remains close to election and McGraw had an excellent first showing. King Kelly continues his seesaw between 55 and 65 percent and has one more ballot to win election. In fact, six of the players below will be on the bubble for next election. Kelly, Galvin, and Caruthers have the best chance.
Jack Glasscock: 68% +1
John McGraw: 68%
King Kelly: 59% -8
Amos Rusie: 55% +5
Bob Caruthers: 50% +4
Pud Galvin: 50% +0
Charlie Comiskey: 41% +8
Monte Ward: 41% +8
Jesse Burkett: 36%

Falling Off The Ballot (12 Players)
All three players on the bubble gained votes, but ultimately they all fell short. Deacon White came oh so close. He scored 60% on the first ballot and scored his highest percentage yet on his final go-round.
Lip Pike falls off on his fifth ballot. The guy just had too many of his great years before 1871 it seems.
Deacon White: 68% +5
Candy Cummings: 50% +8
Dave Orr: 32% +3
Lip Pike: 23% -6
Chick Stahl: 14%
Noodles Hahn 9%
George Van Haltren 9%
Red Donahue 5%
Brickyard Kennedy 5%
Herman Long: 5%
Kip Selbach: 5%

Immortalized and updated format.
Lip Pike fell off? I don't even know what this hall stands for anymore.
#Hyberbole #SourGrapes
Lots of great names fell off this time. SIGH
We still have Jack Glasscock
This is kind-of a cool story. Even has a reference to the first member of HBHOF and one other gentleman who made it through a few votes before dropping off the ballot. I'll definitely be watching for this episode of Antiques Roadshow.
The voting history spreadsheet has grown ever larger.
McGraw had the best first ballot result of any non-first-ballot HBHOFer so far.
