Nolasco makes his triumphant return to take on the Royals. Just the starter the Royals want to face to keep their hold on first.

Actually, the Royals are a good team for Nolasco to face. They are the worst offense in the Central, slightly behind the Twins. Although the Twins are 8th in the AL and the Royals are 9th. The Central is actually probably the best division in the AL for offense. Tigers and Indians are Top 5. Sox just ahead of the Twins. AL West has the two best offenses in A's and Angels, but the rest of the division is worse than all of the Central teams. The East isn't as spread out, but still not as good as the Central.
Yep. Good team for him to face.
Too bad they couldn't just play the Padres whenever one of the crappier starters was going.
Whoa, so the only baseball I could find on the espn app tonight is minor league ball that's unaffiliated with the majors. Playing catcher for the Camden Riversharks: Jose Morales.
Huh, seems Gary Gaetti is manager of the Sugarland Skeeters.
Feels a bit weird to be happy about a Consensual Pork strikeout, but that's where I am right now.
Danny Santana is the only bunter on this team
also on the board!
Nolasco will take care of that.
Payback's a bitch.
well, sigh. that was fun
Ned Yost must have a full bullpen tonight.
Ms beat the Tigers, so the Tigs will be out of playoff position tonight, 0.5 GB the Mariners for the 2nd Wild Card.
Joe keeps the hit streak alive.
Suzuki is tonight's Santana
The media will spin this as just one bad inning for Nolasco, but that just ignores all the base runners before the big inning and one inning ended on a lineout double play. He did finish up nicely. Since it's his first time back from the DL, I'm willing to hope that he found something out there after shaking off some rust. But that hope will only go so far.
