I wanted to go to a quiet convention up the North Shore for my newfound interest in bonsai, but no, the wife wants to take the family into the heart of downtown Chicago for the Air and Water Show. That's about as crazy ass insane busy as Chicago gets. Yaaayyy...

Oops, I forgot to mention that Rhu_Ru week starts tomorrow, y'all. He's tracking down all the sounds that sound great in your ear.
...or something.
I've never really been a Chili Pepper fan, but I've grown to despise this song (and "Californication".) A couple of months ago our [redacted] F&B guy at the hotel switched us from a decent 70-some channel satellite service to this dreadful video-based service that probably has only 100-150 songs on the list. I hear both of these wretched numbers pretty much every freaking day. God forbid I catch sight of those goobers on one of the screens...

apropos: this is my main complaint about classic rock stations -- the play lists are waaaay too narrow. I do not need to hear "Do You Feel Like We Do" or "Baby, I Love Your Way" or "Show Me the Way" more than once each every six months. But I'd be happy to hear a bit more Humble Pie.
