I absolutely adore storms, so this has been great. I've spent a lot of time on my patio.
Would send you some, that I could.
Besides kin, watching a storm roll in over the plains is one of things I miss most. Everything here either follow the mountains north, or splits around the metro region. [From the west anyway, hurricanes can dump a lot of water here once in a while.]
I loved the relatively wide open horizons growing up on the farm, and watching a storm roll in from the west was (almost) always a treat.
Definitely not always.

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Johnny Manziel raised his middle finger toward the Washington Redskins bench as he returned to the huddle late in the third quarter. It was one of the few times a Cleveland Browns quarterback actually found his intended target.
And one for the Washington Post...
The Browns just signed veteran Rex Grossman. One could joke that he should have clinched the starting job Monday by not playing.
Greggggg Easterbrook is starting up his Tuesday Morning Quarterback blog up this week with an AFC preview. I tried to get through it but I just couldn't. It's just the same old stuff week after week, year after year. I noticed last year I was starting to tire of it, but this was the first time I clicked off not even midway through.
I also fully understand that I'm late to this realization.
I read TMQ for a while, but I gave it up about when I gave up on Peter King and Drew Magary. I'll stick to local blogs and Twitter, thankyouverymuch.
Not so late, I had that same realization quite late last year.
RIP, Don Pardo
Sad news. Still, he lived a very long life, and none of us can go on forever. May he rest in peace.
He also got to do his thing almost right up until the end. That's pretty great.
Not so easy one today, Bruce!
ID the AU -- identify the Twins player (current or former or maybe someday) who calls this a signature...
If anyone says that they got it, even with the hint, I'm calling shenanigans.
Zing!
Looks like spooky can't get out of town soon enough. Dude, send some of that my way.

I know of at least one armored-truck driver that will soon be looking for work.
Score one, Associated Press
