Dude's caught two no-hitters; it's not like they were asking him to hit the pitch.
Butters provides extra pitcher motivation since they no their catcher won't provide any offensive support.
I gave in and let me wife hire someone to dig my deck footing holes. I still think I could have done it by hand, but the guy is only going to charge me $200, which is reasonable. Also, it turns out that my brain doesn't work well with construction related projects because I had a terrible time figuring out where the holes needed to go last night. Real shot to the ego, that was.
In the ground?
Definitely not his ass.
I'm working on building a 36' by 42' shed for my animals. It took me at least eight hours spread over three days to get the corners set to right angles so the walls will be straight. You don't want to know how long it's taken to get the ground level and the drainage right. Can't wait to get to putting on boards and tin- that is so much easier to do than the prep work.
Time well spent, though. You screw up that initial stuff, and you'll be kicking yourself.
I think I'm glad I'm building a deck then where I have some wiggle room, so long as the beams are basically straight across.
I've done both deck and shed construction - not a lot mind you, and only as hired labor - but I agree, getting the footings/pad poured properly will save you a lot of headache later on.
The Misty Copeland Experiment is over; she let us down last night.
1-1 doesn't tell us anything. I say we bring her back thru the end of the series with the Sox for a better sampling.
I'm on board -- her record is better than the Twins' right now.
Mo'ne Davis throws the first pitch at Dodger Stadium last night, and the best they can do behind the plate for her is Butters?

TV's Patrick Duffy is Barry Zito's uncle.
