My youngest brother gets married today. From there, Arizona is way too close.

Both Houston and Boston won their games last night so that means the Twins 61 wins is good for second worst in the AL (Texas has 53!) and 4th worst in the MLB (Texas, Colorado 57, Arizona 59)
The Twins Elimination Number for the Wild Card is at 6.
Ben Revere has 12 walks in 535 plate appearances this year.
also 12 doubles.
This kind of ties in, but Phil Hughes has allowed 15 walks this year and one of them is an IBB
In spite of everything, Joe leads the Twins regulars in OB%*. Dozier is among ML leaders in runs and walks; Hughes in wins, fewest walks, and K/BB; Plouffe! in doubles
*tied with Santana, trailing Schafer if you consider him a regular
But, dingers.....
Remember when Joe was "struggling" with RISP? He's now batting .280 w/RISP with a .923 OPS. .280 is below his career average w/RISP, but it is above his current average on the season.
Anybody have experience with the TouchdownHD app for Android? My employer requires destructive power over my phone if I want access to my work email on it (because my work cell was taken away during budget cuts several years ago, but I really do need round-the-clock access). Someone in our IT bureau may or may not have recommended this app as a way to segregate the work stuff from personal data, and thereby protect the personal data....
Putting out the Twayn signal!
We recently purchased a 2001 Ford Escape (for $3,800; leathah and stuff, in pretty good shape). One problem: the rear hatch/liftgate SOMETIMES locks and SOMETIMES does not. There is no keyhole in the rear; entirely electronic. Any (helpful) suggestions on where to start?
Google says it's a pretty common problem, and it's probably the actuator. Evidently there's a Recall 04c09 related to the latch, if you want to go through that pain in the ass, or you can buy an actuator off Amazon and replace it yourself. I'd go the second route, personally.
I'm thinking about the replace-yourself route, but not enthusiastic about $150. Will probably go the Autotoys route for a generic replacement actuator rather than OEM to replace the entire assembly (since the jerks at Ford don't sell just the actuator, which really should be much, much cheaper; gotta love market power). As discussed in this cached Escape-Central forum thread. The part appears to now cost $46.50 plus shipping.
Gophers have held leads of 35-0 and 28-0 in their first two games against lesser opponents Eastern Illinois and Middle Tennessee State. They also have not allowed a point in the first half. However, the final scores (42-20 and 35-24) won't look very good. I'm just hoping it means the Gophers have been working on developing depth after getting big leads on weak opponents by playing the backups.
The Gophers are going to have to have a competent pass game to succeed long term and right now its a mess.
I poured my deck piers today and feel like I got hit by a cement truck. I should have done this when I was in my twenties.
I thought you were going to hire someone? You been over-sampling the homebrew?
I hired someone to dig the holes, the rest is up to me.
I lost 5 lbs in sweat today (literally) cleaning my deck. I should have had someone in his twenties doing this.
I'm available for the low, low price of airfare+ one 6 pack/hour

Yeah, don't put anything valuable in it.
1) tarp hook
2) bungee cord
You guys are the best.
