Zulia: Giovanny Urshela (Cleveland) was 2-for-5 with a grand slam (his second homer). Jose Flores was 1-for-3 with a triple and a walk, scoring once and driving in three. Eric Marzec (Milwaukee) pitched five innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on six hits and no walks with three strikeouts.
Margarita: Gerson Montilla (Arizona) was 2-for-3 with a double and a run. Wilfredo Tovar (Mets) was 1-for-3 with a double and a run. Alfred Gutierrez (Tigers) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, allowing two walks.
The game: Urshela's grand slam in the third put Zulia up 4-1. Flores had a three-run triple in a four-run eighth that put the game out of reach.

The game: Orlando's two-run homer came in a three-run Lara ninth that tied the score at seven. In the tenth, four walks, all coming with two out, brought home the winning run for Magallanes.

Aragua: Jose Martinez (Oakland) was 2-for-5 with a run. Teodoro Martinez (Texas) was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk. Chris Smith (San Diego) pitched six shutout innings, allowing two hits and two walks with five strikeouts.
The game: There was no score until the eighth, when each team scored once. In the eleventh, Jose Martinez singled, took second on a wild pitch, and scored on a Gustavo Molina (Colorado) single to win the game.

The game: Trailing 2-1 after four, Anzoategui scored seven runs in the fifth to take control. Oscar Salazar had a two-run double in the inning.
