  1. In the span of about 24 hours, the Wolves gave up 270 points.

    This is probably the worst stretch of play since the 2010-11 season (remember they closed out the season by losing 15 straight and had a similar 'getting blown out by 30 points a game' losing streak in the beginning of the season.)

    1. So what you're saying is that this front office is also terrible at roster construction and, probably, talent evaluation?

        1. Fair enough. I think I'd rather have just about anyone else as coach if Flip is gonna be gm though.

          1. Young team, injured star. That is a bad combination.

            Could be worse. Could be terrible with everyone watching. Ask Byron Scott how much fun he is having.

            1. To be fair, much of Byron Scott's fun is his own doing.

              But, losing your best player shouldn't render your team completely unable to compete, which is my complaint about the horrible lack of roster balance. Sure, a lot of that is on the previous regime's epic, epic bungling of the Love situation, but Flip has had two stages/offseasons now that, I think, show he doesn't have much grasp of how to construct a team.

              Absolutely no defense whatsoever. Dallas just got to the rim from any position on the floor.

  2. We have snow on the ground this morning, enough to cover everything in a beautiful blanket of white. I need to get out and shovel it, but for now I'm enjoying this cup of coffee, omelette, and a few rashers of bacon.

    1. I'm glad the first snowfall of the year was a decent amount. The trinket was pretty excited about it while it was coming down last night. Unfortunately, though, by the time we'll be able to get out and shovel, most of it will probably have melted by the looks of things.

  3. The praise band this morning did a very credible version of the instrumental break from Another Brick in the Wall, and Twayn, your brother is no Dave Gilmour but he did him proud.

    1. Does this the Twins are going to hire a Rick Anderson clone as a pitching coach? Gotta teach these pitchers how to put a little sink on the ball.

  5. Was thinking about going to watch this, at Real Art Ways (H'town Indie flix) but instead got caught up in making this.
