Well, I didn't expect someone other than me to put up a Gojira video. These guys are great. I picked up L'enfant Sauvage last year after it showed up high on Metal-Rules top albums of 2013 list and I'm glad I did.
And I didn't expect anybody other than me on here to know Gojira!
I really enjoy technical death metal, for sure.
The answer to Guess The Time Signature: 4/4 followed by 2/4 followed by 21/16!
I love the "furious swarm of bees" guitars, I love the drumming, I love the length of the song and the way that it switches up a number of times (crazy awesome time signatures!)
I just can't keep up with a full album of those vocals. They're fine in short bursts, but when faced with an hour of the death metal vocals, I start tuning out. This was pretty tasty, though, so maybe I'll just have to get over it and start loving the growl.
