As Dream Theater is to my past, Periphery is to my present. Misha "Bulb" Mansoor gained a reputation for the music he posted online and then later filled in the rest of the band later with extremely talented musicians (including John Petrucci's nephew Jake Bowen). They've pretty much become the definition of "djent."

This was good ... then it hit the 2:22 mark and the transition and conclusion of the song blew me away.
Yeah, that is a really good part. I'm looking forward to January when they release 2(!) albums. Juggernaut was supposed to be out a couple years ago, but it got delayed. Now there's enough stuff that they had to split it in two. I guess it's somewhat of a concept album.
I was at a customer site today, but I will make it a point to listen to this today sometime.
Ok, I finally had a chance to listen. I enjoyed the guitar work, but I really didn't like any of the vocals, especially the clean parts. I may check out some additional songs, but if he always sings like that I may not be able to get past it.
