I'm attempting to get a job in Minnesota that essentially allows me to do in person what I do online at Casa de Leche on a regular basis. I'll try to refrain from saying "This is the kind of thing I gladly do for free" in the interview.

Great quote by LBJ in the Economist: If one morning I walked on top of the water across the Potomac river, the headline that afternoon would read: 'President Can't Swim'.
Heh.
Pretty amazing he can give quotes from beyond the grave, too.
Good luck, spooky. Sounds like it would be just what you're looking for. Hope you get it.
Ditto, Spooky. Just be aware if you do make it back to MN, I won't be making it to the bars on 75% of the nights you go out.
You might get a job in which you tell large groups of people that what they're doing warms your nether regions?! Then again, you'll need to find some way to stay warm if you move here...
Good luck for real, though.
Everywhere I go, I tell people this as often as possible.
If you keep putting yourself out there, should such an opportunity arise, there's a better chance it will find you.
Help me write Spooky's want ad:

I think the ad just said, "Wanted: Brooks."
I'm a hot commodity.

I see Strawberries...
Even better. Yum.
The youtube uploader probably didn't care enough to be accurate.
Hol' the phone. Are those blueberries? That's pushing the envelope a bit.
Half-bakeried.
That or blackberries.
The photo never put on airs of being anything more than completely unbaked.
Where's anna when you need her?
So, does this job involve running Survivor contests? Writing contests? Copious amounts of Werewolf games.
But seriously, good luck!
Make sure to practice your eyebrow waggling.
I invented it!
Mwa-ha!
Forbidden Zone research. Is nothing sacred?
Well done Timberwolves, well done
Im probably repeating myself, but I think the Timberwolves promotion staff has passed the Twins as the best in town. They are constantly coming up with clever promotions (remember the Kevin Love/Nikola Pekovic Blue Brothers theme All Star push) or videos.
So much love for that spot, or miller
Seriously sign those people to an extension.
Instead of the max, Papa Glen will only offer them 3 year deals.
+100 000 000 humor points. Just for the papa part the rest is priceless
agreed.
Speaking of basketball, This tweet from the 76ers is fantastic
On my iPhone, some LTEs five or six deep just become a vertical string of letters.
are you using the regular or mobile version?
the mobile version is back up?
There is no mobile version. It's the same theme. This was true in the previous edition of this theme too, though something is different in deep threads.
I've seen the same thing but not sure why and haven't had time (and forgot) about investigating. I've compensated by reading in landscape mode at the time.
Right -- landscape works fine.
Driving cars at the expense of everything else: As American as Apple Pie!
Did someone say pie?
Ha!
Keith Law's rankings of Twins prospects:
2. Byron Buxton, OF - down from 1 last year
15. Miguel Sano, 3B - No. 8 last year
30. Alex Meyer, RHP - Up from 62.
43. Nick Gordon, SS - drafted in June
53. Kohl Stewart, RHP - up from 76.
97. Jose Berrios, RHP - unranked last season.
A little surprised Buxton didn't fall further. I think Berrios is too low, especially in relation to Stewart, whose peripherals were unimpressive. Still, 4 of 6 were drafted by TR since he came back. The Twins' bad luck in drafting helped lead to run of bad seasons, but the scouts at least like what they have done with high first-round picks.
