I didn't get to see a lot of the game as I was traveling. But what I did see was an energized club and KG moving about the court, waking up the echos of his inner circle prime.
I'm glad he's back. Seeing him kind of petering out in Brooklyn was no good. He deserves to come home to the roar of the locals.
Yes, he deserves to go out loved by the home crowd. I really hope he retires at the end of the season, however. He surely doesn't need the money.
Is this a good time to mention Tim-tim-timMAY?
In his age-38 season, he's averaging 17.8 pts/36 and 11.8 reb/36. His career averages are 20.5 and 11.5, respectively. It really is amazing that the Big Fundamental is still able to perform at such a high level.
Props to KG, however. His per-36 numbers this season are 12.0 and 12.1, respectively, compared to career averages of 18.7 and 10.5. Also not bad for an age-38 season. He's just averaging only 20 min/g, compared to Duncan's 30.
I guess if you are trying to be THAT GUY who likes to rain on my parade and get a rise out of me it is a good time to mention Duncan. Otherwise, I'd say no.

All 12 of the remaining season ticket holders can really make a ruckus.
I stopped following the Wolves after KG left. I don't think this alone will get me back into following them, but I admit I've watched some clips of his return and they made me awfully happy.
I watched that clip of his intro last night and it stirred some old, archived feelings thought lost to history...
Maybe I once enjoyed watching basketball?
Maybe I once got excited about a basketball team and its star player?
A local team even?
I used to really like watching basketball, but then they cut the bottoms out of the baskets to let the ball fall through and it just hasn't been the same game since.
and stopped having a jump ball after each made basket. I mean, what the hey? Taking turns is so...Canadian.
Sitting at the airport, flight into Midway slightly delayed. I should have time to catch my connection to MSP easily enough.
I'm safely on the ground in the great state of Minnesota. See some of y'all Saturday morning.
Did you guys land on a location?
Well they landed at the airport...
Ok, that one got me.
But seriously, no place for the meet up is set. I'm counting on you or free's knowledge of local joints. I'm at wherever one of y'all decides.
One thing that's always bother me about this gif, which I've never seen anyone mention, is that it seems to be in reverse. Anybody?
About three and a half hours from cracking open the first of my Irish Red Ale, which stopped fermenting suspiciously quickly. Here's hoping it isn't a lost batch, particularly since the brewer I'm training in (that is to say, a dude who was hanging out and listening to me half-bakefly explain brewing) and his girlfriend are coming over to share the joy. I should probably get some backup brew in the case that it's a lost batch.
In case it's not obvious, I elected not to totally swear off beer for a month, as planned. I have, though, been successful in scaling back to a softer intake, which has resulted in feeling more rested (and having the money to make more exciting beer choices). There are a lot of things from my past I couldn't do in moderation, so it's always a treat when I remind myself I can do it with the only chemical I've ever really dug.
This Gophers team is nutty. They beat Michigan St at Lansing tonight (on a crazy sequence to end the game), but they also have some very bad losses.
So, we had Fargo Brewing Company out to our new venture, "Pike and Pint Grill", yesterday. Brought us some tasty samples including their Mighty Red Imperial Red Ale. Mmmm good. They are really good guys and make some very tasty beer.
I spent all week stretched thin between remodel planning, menu planning, concept building, hiring of staff and vendor relations. I will get a respite this weekend, as I travel to Grand Rapids for my daughters Regional hockey tourney. If they finish in the top 2 they go to State!
Regarding KG, I was pretty much unexcited about him returning, but like mentioned above, I found myself experiencing some stirred up emotions.
Linds and I went out to Fat Daddy's last night to check that out. I wasn't able to try all of them, because driving, but what I did have, I'm definitely a fan.
Also, let me congratulate you on your new venture. Early word of mouth seems to be indicating some excitement.
I think I'll be able to direct the family to eating there the first time we're in the neighborhood post-opening. I like the name.
Almost everyone on that side does some variation on low-carb, so I may have to have several beers to check them out.
One of my good friends recently moved down there. If you're open in May when I'm on my way to the Cities, I'll definitely swing in for a bite.
Ex-Twins news: Grant Balfour's father has cancer and it doesn't sound good.
Number 1 smile in sports
KG's introduction from last night. It's pretty flippin' cool.

Thanks for the link free - didn't realize the game was on until it was over (h/t to dw).
What goes into Madden's ratings? Jon Bois makes an appearance too.
Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I love that dude.
Two-year extensions for everyone!

More or less Canadian than this?
If you missed last night Wolves game, FSN usually replays the night before game at noon the next day (its condensed to like 90 minutes)
Florida State player scores thirty points in less than five minutes.
Gotta be tennis, right??
Molitor said Mauer won't bat any lower than third, which sounds like he might bat higher.
Sad news: TK won't be doing FSN broadcasts this year.
🙁
seriously sad news, that.
