Can we split the difference and call it at 11:20AM?
Your math perplexes me.
I made that smaller.
70% is fun though.
I think the kitty's interested in the fish created by the lines.
Because math.
he didn't say to split the difference evenly....
I'm good with 11:20
My family is visiting over Easter weekend and I'm in charge of entertaining everyone Saturday. I assume the mall will mostly let me off the hook, but other than that I'm thinking the trails and parks by the river and maybe a few people will want to go to a Timberwolves game. My dad might like a museum, but he's probably the only one. Any other family friendly suggestions? There will be 10 adults and 8 nieces and nephews - 2 high school, 3 tweens, a 7 year old, and two little ones.
Oooh . . . Free First Saturday at the Walker. Plus, there's the sculpture garden for those who don't want to be in a museum/don't think they like modern art.
And then ice cream at Sebastian Joe's afterward.
Yuck. I don't like ice cream.
You're in ben's family?!
Also, I've heard SJ's has coffee. Maybe that would be more to your liking?
Okay, I just don't like Joes. The employees, past and present, are all jerkwads.
My grandma works at Joes
Heh, please tell me this is true.
No, it was a joke. Neither of my grandmas were jerkwads (at least not to my face)
Well, you got that right.
Thanks for the suggestions Pepper. Will we need to leave the downtown area for meals, or is there a family friendly place in the area? I'm usually pretty embarrassed by the chaos that group causes at restaurants and leaning toward takeout at a park. I haven't been anywhere yet that I'd bring my whole family to.
Rudolphs BBQ could handle a crowd like that and it's close to the Walker and SebJos.
Ahh, Rudolph's. So many (hazy) memories.
Your group may be a bit big, but I liked taking the kids to Be*wiched. I just get the little kids a loaf of focaccia to share.
It's not to packed on the weekend.
Mmm... sandwiches.
I know J.D. Hoyt's can handle a large group. If you want to go for pizza, Black Sheep is quite good, though the space isn't huge, so you might be in trouble if they're crowded.
I just walked through Hidden Falls park and it's in pretty good shape, although you may be on the other side of the river.
As an aside, I didn't realize that there is a boat ramp there. I saw two separate boats trolling on the Mississippi.
If anyone needs some new music to check out, Fantastic Negrito was amazing yesterday.
I'm fighting with the site we used last year; apparently I need a new download and my computer doesn't want to accept it. Is there an app that works as well?
Once pairings know where they're going to play, they can commence. There will be no deadline, but if you start lagging, I might bother you some. Each round is a best of three.
I use that one. I don't know how the multi-player is, but the single players works pretty good.
If beau wants to school a newb I'm free Fri-sun.
Seriously never played a game in my life, so this would be a warm up/exhibition/something for beau to deau.
Beau has agreed to these terms, so our field is a nice, clean sixteen. Radical.
Three times in my life I have taught a person to play cribbage and two of those times they beat me the first game.
To make things fair then I'll use the internet to teach me.
How do you prefer to play? (platform-wise)
I dunno. I haven't played on-line since last year's tourney.
Who has two thumbs and picked UAB to upset Iowa State?! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I look forward to my bracket falling apart soon enough, of course.
Dammit. I was hoping they would win it all and Hoiberg would feel he had nothing left to prove in college BBall, freeing him up to coach the Wolves.
Now I'm hoping for ISU to make a rash decision and fire him so Papa Glen can try to woo him with some lasagna.
Let's not forget the stock Flip/Papa put into tournament performance. (no wait, that was Khan..)
I thought I was being so cagey picking AZ over Kentucky, but it looks like four guys picked each team as the champ. So much for my theory.
If you havent seen it, one has got to check out Georgia State coach fall out of his chair after his team takes the lead. It's all over the twitter machine.
Yeah, I saw that. It was his son who took that shot, right?
That is what the internets say. I had the game on mute at work.
Yup. I am making use of a vacation day to see some exciting hoops. Two 14-seeds and nearly a third. w00t!
I feel bad for larry brown's team. Tough to lose on a goaltend on a shot with no chance.
It really has been some downright passable basketball today. I suppose my sweet bracket is helping.
So who's driving 400 miles to Chicago on a Wednesday, going to a Replacements concert that night, and then driving 400 miles back to Minneapolis the next morning (April 29-30)?
This guy.
Yeah, that one was a little too pricey to pull the trigger on. Maybe I'll see if I can find something cheap on the day of.
NMH played the Riv. That place is nice, but in desperate need of at least a modest renovation.
I drove six hundred miles round-trip in one day last week for something a lot less exciting.
I drove to Madison and back for a Ha Ha Tonka concert a few years back.
I slept in a hostel and had to leave by 5:30 am because my family was travelling to my in-laws that night and I needed to go with them. (But mostly they needed the minivan.)
I'd say that hanging out with the meatclan was more than enough reward for your travels.
The Newmark Diamondbacks' perfect season ended with a 5-3 loss to the Cardinals. Trey started and went the first three innings and gave up the five runs with little help from his defense. He also struggled to throw strikes consistently. He did have a single and a strikeout at the plate.
They'll just have to settle for (the number of games they play minus one)-1!
Archer, season 6, easter egg.
easter eggs.
That's about as elaborate as a voicemail.
+1 seamus tattoo
Also the last line of The Bridge on the River Kwai
I'm just going to pretend it's a painting of King George.
If you feel a tremor in the Fatherland today, that's not an earthquake. It's just grampaS and grandmaS returning from the Left Coast.
I think there's still a small amount of time to get into the NCAA brackef:

If anyone's up for lunch tomorrow around MSP, let me know. I can be flexible w/ time and locations. Plus Brackets will be breaking.
I'll be downtown, and I'm up for any place with meatless options (which is most places).
Be*wiched is wonderful, as is Brothers' Deli.
I can see Bewiched from my window right now
You coming then? I don't believe I've ever met you or yickit.
Gotta get another tick on my wgom life list.
What he said. (Again.)
Sure, I have a flexible schedule and can make any time work
What he said. (He being AMR. What he said being I'll be downtown; meatless options.)
long tails rq'd
Downtown seems like the place to be. Times that work for people?
Wow, more people in North Loop than I realized. Maybe I'll run into someone during my lunch time walks.
B'Witched it is on Friday. What time?
Starting sometime between 11am and 12pm. I prefer earlier, because less busy.
I've got meetings until 11:30, so I'll come down about then.
So Bewitched whatever that is: http://www.bewicheddeli.com/

And because tournaments are awesome:
Here is your Cribbage Brackef. I never did get a sixteenth, so Beau gets a bye (he won last year).
