Oooh good one! She was the vocalist at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet for a performance about residential schools, which I really wish I could have gone to but only found out after the fact because of the really terrible run-in she had with someone downtown. Anyway, I'd always been interested in checking her out since I know a few folks who are way into her, so thanks for making sure I did!

I was expecting someone that looked like the throat-singing Eskimo woman in The Simpsons Movie, not someone... younger than me and wearing modern fashions.
