I just won a game of Survivor online. It was against weak competition, but I'll take what I can get.

I will be out of range of the internet Tuesday and Wednesday, so I need someone to take the Tuesday game recap. Thanks.
My wife works late on Tuesday so I can take that for you, Padre.
Thanks. Also, I hope to have time to put Minor Details together before I leave tomorrow, but I will not have it Wednesday. I'll be back Wednesday night, but I'm going to be busy most of Thursday, so it may be Friday before we get back up-to-date again. Just so you know.
Morning game alert: Chattanooga, with Jose Berrios pitching, hosts Montgomery in a game starting just about now.
The little brother is now a Drake grad and Air Force lieutenant. I'm heading to St. Paul after lunch.
I'm here, waiting for the new roommate/gf to arrive with my keys. Very excited to be here.
Offer in, now we wait for it to be accepted (likely) and then 48 hours for the pre-existing conditional offer to withdraw (hopefully!).
Tentative congratulations!
I think this is the part of the no-hitter attempt where you aren't suppose to even look at him in the dugout.
On a completely unrelated note, we should probably figure a time to get our cribbage matches in.
I hadn't seen this particular article, but we've been tracking this drug for a while. My brother is one of the half it should benefit, so... here's hoping! Thanks for the link.
Also, for anyone curious, my understanding is that a sizable (enormous) contribution from the CF Foundation to the pharmaceutical company made this development possible. All the fundraising has made a very real breakthrough in this case. It makes one feel pretty good.
Hakstol was one of the leading deadenders on the Fighting [redacted] nickname. Wonder with him leaving if that takes the wind out of the sails of restore the nickname or no nickname crowd.
Also they already picked a coach. You guessed it, he's Canadian, scored like 4 goals in his multi-year career but racked up the penalty minutes as an enforcer. Perfect fit for UND.

They haven't replaced County Stadium with Miller Field yet?
Y'know, there's a little bit of room in there to put Miller Field and keep County Stadium.
That's a joke that someone took too far, isn't it?
Mars ends with the Milwaukee flag as a paragon of terrible city flags. The Minneapolis flag, compared to many other city flags, is pretty good. The symbols are too small but there is no writing and simple colors.
Chih-Wei Hu has been called up from Fort Myers to start in Rochester tomorrow. I suspect they must have just run into a numbers crunch or something--I can't believe the Twins would intend that as a permanent move, nor do I think they should--but it'll still be interesting to see how he does.
Hu is starting the game tomorrow.
I don't know, who?
Right.
Tell me who is starting the game tomorrow?
Hu is starting the game tomorrow.
I just asked you!
Right, and I told you Hu.
You did not!
Yes, I told you Hu.
If only Dakota Watts was still around...
Who?
Ah. Rochester has a split doubleheader tomorrow. both nine-inning games, and needed another pitcher. I thought it had to be something like that. It's still a good opportunity for Hu if he can take advantage of it.
Tommy Milone throws a six-hit shutout against Durham tonight, striking out thirteen with no walks.
He threw 115 pitches. There seems to be more willingness this year to let the minor league pitchers throw a few more pitches if they're doing well.
He's not a prospect nor young, so they'll let him go, especially with a doubleheader tomorrow. He has yet to give up a run in three starts with Rochester and has a 33-2 K-BB ratio in 23 1/3 innings. That's insane. He's already third on the team in strikeouts, just one behind Meyer's total in seven starts. Coming into today, Meyer was tied for 5th in the league with 34 Ks.
True about Milone, but they also allowed Jose Berrios to throw 113 pitches in a game last week, which I don't think they'd have done last year.
The 13 strikeouts for Tommy Milone are the most by a Red Wing since Francisco Liriano fanned 13 on August 4, 2005 vs. Buffalo. #Whiff— Rochester Red Wings (@RocRedWings) May 19, 2015
The Marlins broadcasters seem to pronounce Ichiro "itchy-roe".

Speaking of bucket lists, here's one I've recently added to mine: Crossing Lake Michigan via ferry.
Today's Filmwise.
yep, those are my four as well
No, it's
Hey Novak, did you see this.

UND's gonna have to find a new men's hockey coach - Hakstol's been hired by the Flyers.

this, and this.
I'm guessing H'istan is a loser also.
1. I had no idea Minneapolis or St. Paul had city flags.
2. Who puts a microscope on a flag?!
The answer to number 2 is Louise Sundin, but that is not really what I was asking.
1. I figured the MPLS flag had some of this in it.
2. Same people that put a Trivial Pursuit piece on a flag, apparently.
I love how all these state and city flags have Latin mottos, but 0.0007% of us know any of it. Quod erat demonstrandum. #deadspeak
Hartford: "Post Nubilia Phœbus" = "After the Nubile Sun"
Minneapolis: "En Avant"* = "Inb4"
St. Paul: "Saint Paul" = "Without Paul"
*found on the old seal
Heh, I saw what a hot mess the MPLS flag was awhile back and immediately ordered a small sticker of it for my hole at work.
Those two have nothing on this monstrosity.

The flag of Indianapolis is pretty nice.

As is the flag of the People's Republic.
Ahh, my favorite city in New Mexico.
