I wonder if Pepper had anything to do with any of these.
Ha! It made think of this piece. My favorite book on that list is:
Michigan, Maine, and Montana are clearly overrated.
The exclusion of Alaska while those three are included is clearly in error.
Due to a lot of stuff going on this morning (nothing bad, just stuff), Minor Details will not appear until this afternoon. Twins affiliates do not play any afternoon games today.
Aussie Rules is at 1PM today at Nokomis Park. I'll be there, if anyone else is interested in watching a match.
I took a picture of international baggage claim at O'Hare today:
Ugh. It took American an absurd amount of time to unload baggage, then of course O'Hare funnels all international arrivals through two security guards after baggage claim. I almost missed both the 2:30 and 3:30 buses back to Rockford. I didn't think I'd get home until seven tonight. And i have a headache.
Are you suggesting that international travel by air isn't smooth and easy?
That depends on wether its possible to merely suggest while also swearing profusely.
Byron Buxton will be playing for the Minnesota Twins tomorrow.
Arcia, Rosario, Buxton, Hicks, and Hunter. One of these things doesn't belong.
Must be Arcia since he's the only one in the majors. If Hicks can get healthy, we might get Soul Patrol II.
Or it could be the 39-year old. That was the problem I had with that signing originally. I didn't watch the Royals in the playoffs last year and think to myself, "The Twins could really use a Raul Ibanez on their roster. That is the one piece they are missing."
I'd imagine they'll keep Arcia down until he starts hitting again. Since there's no way Hunter doesn't start, I hope they platoon Hicks and Rosario.
I am sure they will. The Twins just have a glut of OF/1b/DH right now. Having Torii just keeps a young guy on the bench or in the minors longer than he should be.
I have enjoyed the team outperforming expectations so far this year but they need to develop talent. Bouncing guys around isn't doing that.
