Milone v Ubaldo.
Hey we get to see Sano at 3rd today with Plouffe! at first and Mauer DHing. Should be a fun one for some early afternoon distraction.

Not a terrible day to start Sano at third, but I would think that when Milone does get ground balls, a lot of them will go to third. The way Showalter likes to play match-up, I don't like having three righties in a row. A little surprised Molitor didn't have Hunter bat second and have Plouffe bat fifth with Mauer third.
Provus Gordo'd that one.
Gordo'd one for the other team that time. So our Gordo'd score is 1-1.
Let's start bringing some of these runners home, boys.
Aggressive baserunning is always fun when it works.
"The red hot Aaron Hicks is on deck". Huh?
I think we're going to regret all these wasted opportunities.
I came here to say this exact thing.
This game has the stinky smell of frustration.
Although Dozier brought his deoderant along.
Kind of gross that he shared with Joe, though.
Atteberry with an anti-Gordo.
??!
Came here with the same question so let me triple the ! and ?.
It was a fly ball to left that carried farther than Rosario thought it would. He got too close to the wall, it bounced back past him and toward the infield. Santana finally picked it up.
TWINS BASEBALL!!
Well, at least we won't leave Hicks on base.
Okay, Hunter, you've been one of the main culprits in leaving men on base. Time to change that.
other side of the equation now, maybe
Good job to give Rosario the green light 3-0. It didn't work, but it was still a good idea.
What's the record for leaving men on base?
MLB record is 27. Twins record is 23, done most recent in 1972.
Checking the games and they're all extra-inning games. For a nine-inning game, the record is 20. The Twins nine-inning record is 17, done most recently in 1990.
I toyed with going to the game today and now I wish I had.
A lot of good performances so far.
THAT'S NO BULL!!

JOE!!!!!
THAT'S ALSO NO BULL!!
VOTEPAUER!!!!!!!!!!!!
ESPN Gamecast is going crazy. So did Joe homer? Gamecast is telling me the Orioles scored to make it 2-2 while it's still in the bottom of the 6th.
Gameday (web and app) is now showing:
It now says the Orioles actually did score two runs in the first inning and are leading 3-2.
I think a fuse was blown when Fryer was called back to first on the foul ball
It still looks like Joe was the one to break the internet though. Too much pauer has returned.
Mauer Homered. 3-1. Plouffe! popped out to end the inning.
Glad to see Molitor sticking with Milone. It may or may not work out, but given the bullpen options, I'm glad to see Milone get the chance to work out of this.

He gave up a long fly ball, but it was an out, so I guess it worked.
I used the Bad Gateway downtime to text my vote for Dozier.
Huh. It hadn't crashed in so long I was wondering if it was fine. Turns out nope. Naturally it started behaving better after I added a cron to check it every two minutes.
I guess since Dozier stole a couple bases early, we had to make sure we got caught stealing a couple of times to even it up.
I step away for a minute and miss a Fryer two-run double. I guess that's why he's up instead of Herrmann.
Fellas, save some runs for the Tigers (especially Friday night).
I'm not convinced we have enough yet.
Point taken.
The Twins have not allowed 5 runs or more since June 30.
Today's game makes it eight games. That will be the 20th time this has happened for all teams this year. Last time the Twins have done it was in 2013 from July 9 through 20.
I heard somewhere that solo home runs don't hurt you.
Fien'd
double Fien'd
I have a feeling that if we give up enough solo home runs, they may hurt us.
SWEEP!!!!
I listened to this up at the cabin. I don't know if it's been the weather or just the crappy internet here, but I couldn't get here without repeatedly being kicked out of my wifi connection. Anyway, this was a good game and I had nothing against it.
I didn't have problems during the Twins game, but I had all kinds of problems when I tried to listen to some other games when the Twins were done. And when I try to listen on my phone, I constantly lose the feed. It does get frustrating.
