The Duffman's curveball is legit.
So good it added a leg to the o in Astros.
Morris and Bremer coming up with every possible reason to explain not calling up Berrios.
I don't have the ability to listen to them, bit it sounds like someone should call them up and tell them you aren't supposed to sit on the microphone.
Duffey has a strikezone-seeking curveball. I don't know how, but it keeps finding some corner of the zone.
BullDozed!!!!!!!!!
That was a no doubter by Eddie Escobar
EscobarDozed!!!!!!!
Bullscobared?
Yescobar~!
wiggle wiggle wiggle
OH YEAH *Duffman thrusting*
Wiggling when you're capable of striking guys out is so much better than when you Blackburn it.
I would rather had Eddie swing away and bop a HR than trying to bunt the runners over.
Co-signed. Yuck.
Also agreed. But Plouffe got hosed on that call at 3rd.
Not that the Twins did themselves any favor by letting Keuchel out of it in 4 pitches after 1st & 2nd with no outs.
It looked like he might be safe but I don't think there was definitive video evidence that Lowrie didn't find the bag.
A robot would've got the call right on the field! #RobotUmps2016
Plus pressure sensitive bases that can detect whose shoes are touching it.
Use the technology they use in tennis when balls get close to the baseline.
Not a terrible idea with no outs but that was a bad bunt plus it was Suzuki and Buxton after Escobar.
That was the part I didn't like. Escobar was the best hitter they had coming up that inning. Even if the bunt had been successful, you're leaving it up to Suzuki and Buxton to drive in the runs.
The bunt was the key to that inning.
The bunt was the key to that inning. the game.
That was an ugly sequence, Trevor.
I'll take a sacrifice fly here.
son of a gun.
You suck, May.
That was a phenomenal Crainwreck impression.
I was leaning toward JC Romero, since he came in specifically to strand runners.
My theory is that May heard all the talk about how they couldn't move him into the rotation next season because he's too valuable in the bullpen. Since he wants to start, he thought, "I'd better start pitching poorly out of the bullpen so I can start next year."
I call that "doing laundry."
Altuve clearly made a hell of a sacrifice to the BABIP gods based on his three hits today.
I hate baseball sometimes.
Ehhh...he's also pretty fast. Not just any player would've reached on his infield hit there.
Sure, he's fast. But that doesn't mean it's less annoying watching a guy reach on a ball that he barely made contact on.
holy Hicks bomb.
The Twins hit 127 home runs last year. They are up to 130 this year.
Finally a short porch the Twins can take advantage of!
What the hell guys? I only stepped away for a few minutes.
Yeah, this game got icky fast.
It all started with a bunt.
I bet Miguel Sano gets a day off tomorrow
He needs to take a series off. Let Vargas get some at bats.
