Read this in sports rag while on bagel quest this morning: The Skeeters, managed by Gary Gaetti, brought Roger Clemens in to pitch three years ago. Consider Sugar Land the landing spot for PED-disgraced All-Stars.
BTW - Goldberg's = best bagels in H'istan.
It's also where Tracy McGrady pitched that one time.
That would all explain why they're on ESPN3 all the time.
I'm headed to Brit's with FW to see the USA-Samoa World Cup match (on delay so they can serve beer during. The game itself is wrapping up about now. ) If anyone is interested, come on down.
One of my running buddies is the head of the design department (white haired fellow in the second photo).
new floors installed. All that is left is to bring somebody in to paint the new baseboards (pre-primed) and do touch-up. No, I ain't doing that crap.
We got a Mohawk laminate product that does a very nice job of simulating the look and feel of weathered hardwood. You know it's not hardwood, but it really does look good, and real enough to not give you that annoyed "that shit's not hardwood, why are they doing such a crappy job of pretending?" feeling.
I had dreams of new flooring not so long ago, lush carpets and rich polished woods, and then we got a dog.
We're dog-sitting the 5 pound Yorkie again this weekend, and she's determined to hold her own against our 50 pound Shepard. And the both of them are like little kids...20 toys on the floor and they constantly fight to get the same one, no matter which one it is.
This is interesting because the Twins are signaling that Buxton will not be in majors to start 2016.
I wish I could understand what its like to have the thought process that says "We have a very deep collection of outfielders. We should sign a 40 year old at the very end of his career!"
Sorry, I'm not taking the rumors of a Red Sox mediahead as gospel.
I'm not either, its just that it is something I could see them doing and that I wish I could understand what goes into that thought process.
I am guessing, however, that this guy's source might very well be someone with a close, business relationship with ii.
trying to drum up business for his client?
On the radio yesterday, Provus went out of his way to say that the Twins had been non-committal about bringing Hunter back next year. Gladden, of course, was all "Why in the world wouldn't you want him back?", but that's just Dazzle being Dazzle.

Yeah, baby. H'istan's Wadsworth gets the nod by the NYT.

Former Twins great!
Kendrys Morales blasted three homers and tripled against the Tigers
Four seasons of Veep, four Emmys for Julia-Louis Dreyfuss. She may be the best comedic actress in television history.
Make that recent history. π
Zero for Amy Poehler playing Leslie Knope.

Really cool gesture by the Twins.
I think it would have been a lot cooler if the Twins hadn't been screaming all weekend how cool it was.
I think it would have been cooler if the Twins had won.
