What probably should've been strike three put Escobar on base, and Hicks tripled him home. Way to take advantage, Twins!
gif! Here's #LindorROY's unbelievable play for the fourth out of the third! 😉 WATCH >> http://t.co/hjHNLWXB4w pic.twitter.com/oM8GuMC3Mc — Cleveland Guardians (@CleGuardians) September 23, 2015
I clearly heard Attebury on the radio, as Provus is out with a disappeared voice. Weird that I would've mistaken the voice.
7 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 1 BB, 7K for Santana. *inserts numbers into a spreadsheet* the math says thats pretty good!
Wasn't the first time and it worked before. WATCH: #MNTwins manager Paul Molitor says Ervin Santana was "strong to the finish" @Twins http://t.co/1CTIbNiVNx — Bally Sports North (@BallySportsNOR) September 6, 2015
In his previous four starts, Santana had thrown at least 107 pitches with a high of 119. And it's not like he has a high innings count this year.
True, but he was at 100 at the start of the inning. I don't mean to imply it was the wrong decision. I was just surprised by it.
OOOOOH I though Brantley caught that one!

And then Dozier doubles in another!
And Mauer doubles home one more!
its an extra base bonanza!
FYI, in play, run(s)
DANG!!!! LINDOR!
I was washing dishes and heard Provus freaking out about it. I'm going to have to track it down.
gif!
Wow. Yeah, that's something else

Heck of a play staying with that one after the goofy bounce by Escobar.

Jeff Manship sighting!
I had forgotten that Jeff Manship was still around.
And he has pitch OK for Cleveland this year. Good for him!
Quite well. 2.59 FIP and crazy 1.06 ERA. His velocity ticked up but not by much.
***BASES LOADED FOR SANO ALERT***
=(
Gotta score here.
Huh.
Some pretty bad batting with the bases loaded.
Make that "batting"
Surprised Santana is starting the eighth, given his pitch count.
Same. Quick hook, though, which is good.
No need to save him for a post season, should there be one
Touche!
Yeah, but he'd be great for game 163

There's good Perkins!
Good job, Perk.
Apparently, Y still DNROTH.
He's always done a good job of positioning. It seemed to give him the edge, there.
Good win. Good win.
I love the smell of puppies in the evening. It smells like...victory.
Astros lose. 2 games back.
