MVP: Sano
ROY: Sano
Leadership: Hunter
Media Cooperation: Hunter
Top Pitcher: Gibson
Most Improved: Hicks
Best Defensive Player: Rosario
Community Service: Dozier
Media Cooperation: Hunter
One might observe that Hunter won two awards that have nothing to do with being able to play the game of baseball well.
So you're saying that Sano stole the MVP award from him?
He should have won top pitcher, most improved, and best defensive player, too!

you can say that again!
I don't understand that one. Usually it won't let me make a duplicate comment even if I want to, and this time it gave me a duplicate comment when I didn't want it to.
Sorry, I saw that comment was stuck in the spam filter for some reason, so I approved it. Didn't know you re-typed it.
That's the thing--I didn't retype it. There's some weird thing going on with my mouse where sometimes it gives me a double-click when I only click it once.
Do they give out the media cooperation award just so we know exactly which direction they are based towards?
I have several questions:
1. How much did Hunter's leadership contribute to Sano's winning the MVP of the team? Was it solely responsible? Or was it more like 95%?
2. Why did Buxton struggle? Did Hunter not throw enough leadership in his direction? Or is he simply a malingerer? Or both?
3. How will Sano's winning team MVP impact Hunter's bid for league MVP?
Eric Fryer, Aaron Thompson and Shane Robinson outrighted from the Twins' 40-man roster, probably to make room to protect prospects from Rule 5 draft.
No great loss there. I'm not saying they're completely useless, but each of them is the type of player you can pretty much always find if you want one.
*Replacement Level*
Robinson was a decent backup outfielder, but we're swimming in good outfielders. In fact, this is as good as I've felt about our position players as a whole in several years, especially if Escobar can own shortstop and play next year like he did this year. And assuming Torii is not a threat to play baseball again next year.
Cc to willyoung: I spent my day at the times pic, and, boy howdy, it's a sad day for major American news papers.
I believe it. That paper was always pretty silly anyway (every time I visited it was about 1 page on corruption in Orleans Parish, 1 page on corruption in Jefferson Parish, 1/2 page on crime in New Orleans, and 20 pages on society).
Huh, something about today's date is familiar.
I can't seem to find my hoverboard. Has anyone seen my hoverboard?
Those boards don't work on water! Unless you have PAUER!
It's the release of Jaws 19! I'm going to go see it after work.
1½ hr drive to Mesa?! Even with traffic, that seems much. Unless you're billing it, I guess.
Spooky lives in east LA.
Hey AMR, and others of course.

Day before Mitski. Doubtful given timing.
Thanks for the heads-up though.

Well, now it's just 20 webpages on society.
