is this a whale?
So, no.
So weirdest thing, my four year old's favorite band is the Clash. Seriously. He memorized every song on every album in order. Kids are strange.
Neither myself or Mrs. Buffalo every considered ourselves huge fans. He took to it all on his own. Spotify and a tablet is all it took.
Also, I now get the boyo references from NBB! Wrong em boyo!
This is excellent. My four year old is basically indifferent at this point, though at least it's not Disney tunes being requested ad infinitum.
My four year old is less indifferent, but it is Disney tunes being requested ad infinitum.
I bet he loves that tune from Sandinista with the kids singing.

Also, I'm actually kind of curious. The boy hasn't had much interest in requesting specific artists/songs, but definitely has an strong interest in music (earlier this year was jazz and classical, but lately he's all about "rock!"). I've been toying with giving him his own device for music, but haven't been sure how to go about it.
This is fascinating. My 5-year-old sometimes seems to be downright anti-music. He generally can't stand listening to music in the car and doesn't like having it on in the background at home either. (When he started being okay with Twins broadcasts in the background last summer, it felt like a major victory.) I'm hoping this just means he's really aware of and sensitive to music, rather than that he actually dislikes pretty much all of it. That said, he will walk around the house singing songs from school and that sort of thing.
The peperoncino, who is 2, is much more easygoing about music. When he and I are hanging out on our own, I'll often stream Wonderground, which more often than not has some fun tunes. He also loves to sing songs from daycare ("The Wheels on the Bus" and that ilk) while "accompanying" himself on the piano.
I can also recommend the Wonderground stream for anyone with smaller children.
I am also jealous at your newfound ability to penetrate part of the mystique that is NBB.
Ray Davies looks different.
