Apparently the wayward travellers missed the NYC snowfall record by .1" -- they're going to take the subway to The Met and then hit the ticket office to see a show tonight. There are some flights cancelled tomorrow as well, but their rescheduled flight is at 3PM, so I'm hopeful they'll be good.
meat, I'ma thinking that maybe your state legislature has some interesting ideas.
How'd the cassoulet go, Doc? Was talking about this earlier today on a trail hike and thinking I need to make this sometime this week.
Making it today. I shredded the chicken rather than leaving it on the bone. Will share pics tonight.
Here is the chicken being confit-ed.
After cooling the perfumed lard, I scooped it out to a quart-sized plastic container to refrigerate for future re-use. that left me with about a cup of gelatin that will probably go into the cassoulet as well.
for those following along at home, a full post has been scheduled for tomorrow morning.
I live in the free state of new orleans, doc. I have no idea what happens above I-10.
