Well, there are still a few interesting restaurants to hit while I'm here.

Today everyone is supposed to wear their team colors to church. Yes, I am in full Twins regalia -- 10 days, baby!
vaguely apropos, my first exposure to the concept of "white pizza" was at the legendary Bethesda family restaurant, the Pines of Rome. Good memories. The food was never "dismal" (as this mid-90s review states of some of the dishes). But it's a family restaurant, not a high-end one. C'mon, people.
Oldest daughter with broken fibula and tibia. Too old by 2 months for Children's Hospital. Waiting on word from U. Of Minnesota for scheduling surgery today.
No fun!
Yikes. The Valet gets tubes in his ears at Children's tomorrow
The jalapeño got tubes at 18 months--best thing we ever did for him. No more ear infections, no more antibiotics, and after having the tubes for a week, he began consistently sleeping through the night.
Good luck!
I've heard nothing but good things on the results of that procedure.
Best wishes for a speedy, full recovery. Must have been painful.
Ugh is right. Best wishes to her (and to the Valet).
Oh man. Hoping for a fast recovery!
Uh-oh. I hope the surgery goes smoothly and she heals quickly!
She is in our prayers.
Thanks.
Everything is going as well as possible. Should be going home today.
Rachel Banham went off for 60 for Minnesota in a 2OT win over Northwestern. She had 42 in regulation and 18 more in the extra sessions.
The senior from Lakeville, Minnesota, shattered the school (44) and Big Ten records (49) and moved within 47 points of breaking Lindsay Whalen's school record of 2,285 points.
She also tied the NCAA mark.
Of course she has got her pro career ahead of her, but Banham has got to be creeping towards Top 10 all time best Minnesota athletes.
I never thought I would see Beau's buddy Fancy Ray in a Super Bowl commercial
