Back at the dentist for the trinket. They found that the youth they were going to crown is infected, so it's getting pulled instead. I'm hoping it's a better process for get.

I dunno. Incarceration for an infected tooth seems a bit harsh for a toddler. Do you guys have Sharia law now?
Oh man, I didn't even type that on an iPoduct.
I lost interest when trying to fit a Denny Green quote to the context.
Just imagine it was awesome, everyone.
Play Classical Gas!
I am fairly amazed at how fast the tooth came out. It wasn't nearly as disturbing to watch as I thought it would be.
As long as the tooth isn't broken or impacted, it shouldn't take long at all. I've had wisdom teeth pulled out that only took a couple minutes.
Or is unusually formed in the gums so it takes 25 minutes of painful breaking apart and extracting.
I had an impacted wisdom tooth that I had to have an oral surgeon remove. He basically just drilled it out. He then sewed up the hole in the gum. They did a really good job of numbing me up, so there wasn't any pain, plus he put a plastic thing in my mouth that kept my mouth open so I didn't have to hold it open. He told it would swell up later because of the heat created by the drilling, and he was right about that. It swelled up a lot more than any other tooth extraction I've had.
Three of four were impacted in my case. They put me under (this was 1982 or so).
My wisdom teeth were textbook, from what the dentist told me. In and out no problem at all.
It wasn't broken, but when they brought it to us and I got a really good look at it I was surprised by how big the cavity was.
First time using Frinkiac...
I had no idea he was still in the league. Wikipedia says he's the oldest active player age-wise. The only two players I can find in the league longer were Kobe (96 Draft) and Duncan ('97 Draft), though I might have missed someone.
KG in 95.
He's still "active"?
Here's hoping they can add a decent big to the roster. Riding Towns & G for 40 minutes a game and forcing us to watch Payne is not ideal.
This. So much this.
During his second stint with the club, Flip had some eye for talent but what he ever saw in Payne (and trading a 1st round draft pick for him!) will remain a mystery.
That's a vague tweet. Is it the guard or agent that wants to sign with a playoff contender?
I should hire AMR2* to be my agent.
*"Ada Michelle Resch". I assume someone with that name exists. Maybe her last name is the same as mine instead of the old Islanders Goalie Chico.
Years ago when we were hiring an actuary that would work with me about 50% of the time, one of the top two candidates shared my first name and last initial. I don't know if it was given any weight, but I said that I greatly preferred not hiring the guy that would be easily confused with me by name and require everyone to try to pronounce my surname. Which rhymes with "Fresh".
Sounds like the Wolves are going to buy out Martin as well. About time.
Seeing Trueblood going from apocalyptic to ecstatic on Twitter has been fun today.
What's the context, for those of us who aren't followers?
The Cubs traded away Coghlan for next-to-nothing and then announced signing of Dexter Fowler.
Omaha night and nothing to do... Okay, Deadpool
Dr. Chop was promoted today. While this doesn't come with actual tenure (yeah, seriously), it's the first time her university has promoted someone early. She's been burning the candle at both ends for more than a decade, and today she received some institutional recognition. It's been a long, long road, and I'm totes proud of my better half. (her tenure is all but guaranteed at this point, just another year of service is all that is needed)
Excellent! Give the good Dr. our regards!
Congrats to Dr. Chop. Having gone through that meat grinder, I can certainly sympathize with the stress.
Congrats indeed, especially for what it means for next year. We are in a similar boat, as my wife is currently waiting to hear if she got tenure (and raise and promotion) this year or not. But, they don't find out until June.
