Why was I expecting a Warrant cover song?
This was good.
Perhaps Warrant's song was a response to this?
Am I allowed to say I love her voice?
Sade (shar-DAY) hit the scene in the 80's about the time 94.7 The Wave began in LA, and it was a match made in heaven.
they were Smooth Operators.
The LP label, Cassette J-card Cover, CD print, and CD Spine (!) of Diamond Life all spelled out the pronunciation that way. I don't believe I've ever seen anything like that (unless maybe it was the album title).
Fila Brazillia did entitle a song "A Zed & Two L's" so that people could spell the band's name more consistently.
