While sort-of mesmerizing, something tells me, this is not good.
Real bad.
reminds me of frost boils back home
Did anyone else hear Steve Inskeep's remarkable interview this morning? He was just so blunt and effective in calling a spade a spade instead of letting his deplorable interviewee's views go unchecked. Truly great journalism.
with whom?
David Duke. What a POS.
low hanging fruit. But yeah, Inskeep has always been good in my experience at calling people out on their BS
Duke? David? European Americans?!? What could go wrong?
Meat, did your new Casa survive the tornado I see why through your neighborhood?
I haven't been by, but the path of the tornado was not near the new slaughterhouse. Terrifying couple of minutes in the quarter though.
We finally sent in our dog DNA test for Harper and the results are in:
50% German Shepherd Dog
37.5% Border Collie
12.5% Border Collie Mix
One unexpected finding was that about half of her border collie genes are Australian border collie, and there's 6.25% of DNA (from the border collie mix) that doesn't exactly match any of their breed databases but has markers shared by a number of breed groups. Now, Australian Kelpies were originally bred from the forerunners of the modern border collie breed, with a little bit of Dingo bred in to make them hardier in desert climes. So I'm speculating that the border collie mix three generations back may have actually been a Kelpie. But we'll never know for sure. What the test did confirm, since I already knew it from direct experience, is that Harper is extremely intelligent and hyper-energetic. Fortunately, I have the capacity to indulge her need for exercise. Frisbee is the game of choice, but I'm currently teaching her to run along on-leash as I ride my bike. She loves it, and after just one ride she'd learned her left from her right as I verbally signaled turns for her.
Harper is an excellent name. A good friend has an extraordinarily intelligent cat named Harper.
She's a southern belle from Biloxi that was sent north by the Humane Society, and we like literary names.
I may or may not have mentioned this article to The Boy on Bookface....
You must really like underwear.
Yea, it did occur to me that I might be incentivizing certain gifts.
Joe Nathan DFA'd by Cubs to activate Jorge Solar. Nathan only pitched 2 innings, but he didn't allow a run and had 4 Ks and 0 BBs with 2 hits allowed.
10 batters faced and 4 reached. XSSST, but that's not good.
Ron Davis had worse stretches at the "peak" of his career.
He left behind a lot of little achievers. Quick, somebody find a photo of the coffee cup the Malibu Sheriff threw at the Dude for today's picture.
"...but not the Irish!"
Ah...classic.
Revision: "But we don't want the Irish!"
Or this one?
What in God's holy name are you blathering about?
Should have the picture
