I felt sort of dirty buying it for that low, and in a digital-only format, but the odds were good that I wouldn't have sought it out otherwise, and hell, if I end up loving it, there's no reason I can't buy it in physical form.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere before that when albums are discounted like that on Google/Amazon, the artist still gets their full cut. They're loss-leaders for the store to get you to buy a few more while you're at it. I may be making that up, but I'm pretty sure you can proceed guilt-free with regards to not shorting Sturgill.
Well, then. He gets money (albeit probably not a whole lot of it) he would not have otherwise gotten. Good for him.
Thanks to you guys I now own this album three ways. I wanted to spend $1 to give him hopefully more than $1 in this case, though. IT'S SO GOOD!
