I always like this part of the year because there are built-in CoC themes.

One of my old Volvos was built on the Ides of March. I got nearly 300,000 miles out if it before trading it to my mechanic for a brake job on another car. As far as I know it's still in service.
WBC Update:
Pool E:
NED 14 - 1 CUB (7 innings per mercy rule, Cuba eliminated)
ISR 3 - 8 JAP (Japan finishes first in Pool, Israel eliminated, Netherlands advance)
Japan scored 5 in the 6th and 3 in the 8th. Israel did all its scoring in the 9th.
Pool F: DOM 1 - 3 PUR

Max Kepler, RF
Miguel Sano, 3B
Byron Buxton, CF
Robbie Grossman, LF

This Adalberto Mejia guy is the second coming of Randy Johnson. 8 k's
In 3 2/3 innings and no walks. I'm sure there will be a complaint about too many full counts but otherwise great outing.
Dazzle just said "Once the game starts, I don't think it matters where you're hitting." I'm sure many of us would agree, but it's nice to hear him say it.
One wonder what he would say if he knew that sabrmetricians generally agree with that.
However, I would be in favor of just about all of these.
So much.
Happy Gilmore wants a word.
The Mariners might actually win something if their FO was half as good as their marketing.
I always feel bad for the marketing and sales departments of bad teams, only so much they can do to polish a turd.
Nibbish - We are starting our second season of cribbage leagues next week, and I am looking for one more twosome to play on Tuesday nights at 6. Do you play? We have 16 team leagues on Monday and Tuesday and I just need one more team to fill it up. Call me at the joint if your are interested, or know someone who may be. $20 per person. 100% payout + we pay weekly winners in gift cards. 6 week league. 6-8 pm. Fun group of people.
That sounds like it would be fun. How long into the year does it go? Eventually, there's golf league to consider.
6 weeks. Starts next tuesday and runs through the end of April. Each night is basically a mini tournament, with winning team getting gift cards. We keep standings and pay out most of the money based on standings after 5 weeks. Then, the last week we do a end of season tournament to pay out the rest. It is fun. I play on Mondays, but we have a pretty fun group of people signed up for Tuesday nights.
That's sounds interesting/fun. Let me talk to the other half.

Anyone know if an edited version of this is available anywhere? I think my wife and older kids would dig except...

A real whodunnit.
I fixed the link. You had an extra "http://" in there.
So many article links.
Uhhhh . . . so few cats?
These aerial/ground photos are really cool for someone like me who likes to match map to landscape.

it matters if you are hitting it over the fence!

Mind. Blown.
Heresy. Bat flips are forever.
