Los Mochis led 4-3 after one, but Culiacan scored twice in the second and led the rest of the way. D'Arby Myers was 5-for-5 with a walk, a triple, and two home runs, scoring three times and driving in five. Issmael Salas was 3-for-4 with a walk and a home run (his second), scoring three times. Alexis Wilson was 2-for-4 with a walk and scored three times.

For Canberra, Brian Grening struck out seven in seven innings, giving up one run on seven hits.
