This is the fourth straight game I have attended in which a Twin was picked off the bases. Stupid.

WWW Lynn today.
Lynn looks positively annoyed right now.
KepleRR!
Somehow, I have still yet to see Lance Lynn allow an earned run (although he finally allowed a run today). 16.1 innings and counting.
Hedley is taking a very short lead and then retreating to first base every time Price starts his motion. I guess he at least shouldn't get picked off this way.
Who?
Yeah, I had a D'oh moment for awhile until I realized who Hedley was.
I had never noticed that they put the lyrics to "Boom, Boom, Boom, Let Me Hear You Say Way-O" on the closed captioning screen.
Hoping this game doesn't suffer from Addison's Disease
Defensive indifference confusion
Great win by the Twins, especially great job by the bullpen. I'm really trying to like Lynn, but even when he pitches "well" he annoys me. This is the first time the Twins have won consecutive series since the first week of May and just the second time all season. They have yet to win 3 straight. In winning 4 out of 5, the Twins won games while facing Kluber, Carrasco, Sale and Price.
okay, take it:
Remove his 5 April starts, and Lynn has pitched very "well". He is not a Verlander, but honestly he is doing fine for what we paid for him and the role he has as a #4 or 5 starter. What's annoying about that?
The five walks kinda annoyed me, but meh, we got the 'W'
I am not annoyed by his 4-1 record and 1.73 ERA over his past 6 starts. I would say his walks irritate me, but not annoy me. I know we are all a bit nervous that he is the next Nolasco, Ponson, etc, but I liked this signing when it happened, I was nervous in April, and now feel like he is a solid, unspectacular starter.
The walks thing is odd, though. His career walks through nine innings is 3.6. Before this year, his season high had been 3.8. This year, he's at 5.6.
In April, I assumed it was the short spring training. I don't know why it would continue into June.
Yadi is that good at pitch framing? Garver is that bad at it?
I mean, I guess that doesn't surprise me. I always kind of knew that "bad" defensive catchers existed (as opposed to a few great ones, and a whole bunch of them who mostly sat behind the plate and played backstop), but Garver fails every eye test and several stat tests.

Poor Doumit, getting Battey'd like that.
Ha, I never really considered him a "catcher". But yeah, he was truly bad.
I spotted a Doumit jersay at the game today.
Seeing him sandwiched between Suzuki and Butera, and not all that far from Wilson Ramos, with negative values from Centeno as well, it makes me sad for our past pitchers. Only JR Murphy and Bobby Wilson are positive (and Castro at #4, of course). *sigh*

Garver is pretty horrible at it, according to this table.
