Game in progress. Santana makes his 2018 debut. It did not start well.

This is here for people that want to watch Santana's season debut.
Hey, hey! Mauer double, 3-1 Twins!!
Joe is now only five away from tying Joe Judge for second in the entire Senators/Twins franchise history. (63 away from Sam Rice)
Santana not very Santana-y so far today. Hopefully the O continues to give him a lead
Taylor Motter was dfa'd. Thank goodness.
We've had a few long fly ball outs already. I guess as long as they're outs, it doesn't matter. It doesn't make me feel very confident, though.
Garver is "swinging a hot bat"? Yes, he was 3-for-4 Monday, but in the seven games before that he was 1-for-18. Maybe the bat is hot, but he sure hasn't been.
New bat tech to keep the fingers from getting cold.
When asked what Hall-of-Famer he'd like to meet, Gladden said "Sandy Koufax". That's cool. Koufax was one of my very early (non-Twins) baseball heroes.
He also talked about how much he was looking forward to busting Robin Yount's [chops].
Come to think of it, I've only been able to listen to portions of the game, but Danny's been a little fiesty.
Garver's 3-for-4 again today, with three RBIs. Maybe he really is swinging a hot bat.
A double play right here would be good.
Got the ground ball, but in the hole. Happens sometimes.
This inning wasn't all due to bad luck, but some of it was.
We went down pretty meekly against a pitcher who's not very good.
And now we've brought in Matt Belisle. Molitor must not want to play extra innings today.
Saving Rodney for the six-run lead
And again, a blooper gets us into trouble.
And a line drive gets us out of trouble. Baseball is a strange game sometimes.
Garcia may be having a poor year, but he'd win the Cy Young Award if he got to face the Twins all the time.
Always with the leadoff baserunner
It wasn't always pretty, but two shutout innings for Belisle.
Come on, Morrison. We need a base hit here.
Come on, Polanco. We need a base hit here.
Come on, Kepler. We need a base hit here.
A hit batsman works, too!
TWINS BASEBALL!!!
How can Gibbons be at the mound to make a pitching change if he was thrown out of the game?
I'm not sure, but I think the only rule is once someone is thrown out that all the umps can do is keep the game in a timeout till the manager has left the field.
Anybody watching on TV? Do the Blue Jays have a legitimate gripe on the ball calls?
Ive been listening to the tv more than watching, but they seem to be outside the FOXbox
Not according to Gameday legit balls.
Keep swinging that hot bat, Garver!
Towards the end of Tuesday's game, Dick was wondering out loud (aka hoping) if Bobby Wilson would be able to catch yesterday's game because it wasn't a true day game after a night game.
We'll take a couple more insurance runs!
We'll take all the runs we can get.
I wonder if the Twins have a record for most runs scored in the 11th inning.
Sounds like a part two. Maybe without the dense tables it'll be easier to read.
I bet the record is double digits
Not sure about the 11th, but LEN3 said that the Twins record for largest extra-inning win was 10 runs (14-4 IIRC).
Twins lead MLB batting with RISP and 2 outs with an .848 OPS. They are 29th in MLB when leading off an inning at .649.
