Winter break has officially begun, and I'm sure my boys want nothing better than to pitch in with cleaning the house and baking cookies, right? I mean, what else could they possibly want to do?!

How about "eat the cookies"?
The St Louis Low Brass Collective is between our hour practice and our performance at noon. The symphony trombones are going to perform, too - they're outstanding ambassadors*. If I get any kind of recording of them, we might have a WGOM video for holiday week.
*if you haven't seen it, google "Bohemian Rhapsody trombone" - 3 of the 4 are playing in it at different times
Tigers will have a familiar right side of the infield.
I did like both guys (and think Cron's thumb injury derailed his season quite a bit) so good for them.
More importantly, I love the decision to go with Arraez full time.
Our school district has a half day on Monday before the break starts.
I'm sure there's a reason for that, but I have no idea what it would be. I'd be surprised if any learning actually gets accomplished during that half-day.
Jason Bartlett is probably available.
i'll say again, it seems the tigers are trying to tank. my question, is gardy in on it, or do they trust him to do it without asking.
(though i do wish we hadn't gotten rid of goodrum)
Can I pretend Kevin Love is still a T puppy?
Him and KAT on the floor together would not be the worst thing in the world.
Love that the pool table is the focal point of the living room.
Kuechel to the Pale Hose. The ALC got interesting.
I'm happy to share that my son's Lego league team did better than anticipated, and gets to move on to the regional tournament (or sectionals, or whatever they call it for Lego league). It's fun to see the kids earn their rewards after all their hard work. And even nicer that they seem to be picking up good values and habits along the way.
But what about CTE?
Look, I played with legos when I was growning up, and I terned out fin.
