Man, this is one if my shows that were postponed/canceled for 2020.
Earlier this week some tweeted at Tom Morello to stop being so political and get back to the music, which Morello retweeted. R.I.P. that dudes mentions.
Scott!! What music of mine were you a fan of that DIDN’T contain “political BS”? I need to know so I can delete it from the catalog. https://t.co/AMpmjx6540
To be fair, when I was 7 years old I thought Born in the USA was pro-America
Classic rock stations still wedge it between flag-waving idiocy on the fourth every year.
Good. Right?
Not if the message is lost.
And to make matters funnier, I just saw an article this morning that RAtM are charting again. I think, with their views, they might have been slightly ahead of their time.
Easily one of the more important live shows I saw a young punk. Roy Williams sometime in the late 90s. I can still see / feel the energy of that crowd.
