I feel like Fever Ray has been making music that is more and more in control, and the best of Knife/Fever Ray was when the music felt like it was elemental and just barely tamed for their purposes.
This album kept showing up high on year-end lists, but it didn't have the thing that I most like about Fever Ray/Knife. I listened a few times and just never went back.
