One thought on “BB King & Friends – Why I Sing the Blues”
I saw this in college when it originally aired on HBO, I think you can still find the whole show on YouTube and it's worth a watch. Dr. John and Etta James do a duet of I'd Rather Be Blind that is off the charts, and to see BB King, Albert King, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan jamming together on the same stage is a rare and precious thing. HBO followed up on this all-star cast formula with A Black and White Night with Roy Orbison, which was equally fantastic.
