ST. PAUL SAINTS 3, OMAHA STORM CHASERS 1 IN OMAHA

Matt Wallner hit a three-run homer in the eighth (his fifth) to overcome a 1-0 deficit.  David Festa struck out five in five shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk.  Richard Lovelady struck out two and walked two in a shutout inning.  Brady Feigl pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and striking out one.  Anthony Misiewicz struck out two and walked one in a scoreless inning.

TULSA DRILLERS 4, WICHITA WIND SURGE 3 IN WICHITA

Tulsa scored three in the first and one in the second.  Tanner Schobel hit a two-run homer (his sixth) in a three-run fifth to get Wichita back into the game, but they did not get a hit after that.  Starter Darren Bowen pitched three innings, allowing four runs on five hits and no walks and striking out one.  John Klein struck out eight in 3.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk.  Michael Martinez struck out three and walked two in 1.2 scoreless innings.  Jaylin Nowlin pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and one walk and striking out one.

CEDAR RAPIDS KERNELS 6, LAKE COUNTY CAPTAINS 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Jose Salas hit a two-run homer in the fifth to tie it 2-2.  Nate Baez and Brandon Winokur each homered in a three-run sixth to put Cedar Rapids in the lead to stay.  Salas was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, his fifth.  Winokur was 2-for-4 with a home run, his fourth.  Baez hit a home run, his third.  Cole Peschl struck out seven in six innings, giving up two runs on three hits and no walks.  Gabriel Yanez pitched two shutout innings, giving up one hit and striking out one.  Cole Percival pitched a perfect inning.

BRADENTON MARAUDERS 6, FORT MYERS MIGHTY MUSSELS 4 IN FORT MYERS

Maddux Houghton hit an inside-the-park home run in the second to put Fort Myers up 1-0, but Bradenton took the lead with four in the sixth.  Fort Myers came back with two in the bottom of the sixth to cut the lead to 4-3, but Bradenton scored two more in the eighth.  Luke Napleton was 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI.  Maddux Houghton was 2-for-4 with a home run, his fourth.  Ricardo Pena was 2-for-4 with a run.  Miguel Briceno was 2-for-4 with an RBI.  Eli Jones struck out seven in six innings, giving up four runs on six hits and two walks.  Ivran Romero struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

FCL TWINS 3, FCL ORIOLES 2 AT ORIOLES

Ramiro Dominguez hit a two-run double in the fourth to put the Twins up 3-2.  Luis Fragoza was 2-for-3.  Matt Gabbert pitched four innings, giving up two runs on three hits and a walk and striking out two.  Melvin Rodriguez pitched three shutout innings, giving up no hits and three walks and striking out two.
