Giants, you say?
Jordan Hicks for San Fran and Chris Paddack for Minnesota.
Also, I love when the local teams are matching up against teams from the same city at the same time.

I still really wish those hats didn't have that "10,000 LAKES" thing on the side.
no SB when you triple, 3BUX
Mid-inning activity: wrapping fresh-cut rhubarb stalks until I can crisp them tomorrow.
HELLO
Another good start to this Paddack start.
Carlos, I’ve known old ladies who are faster to church on Sunday than you are on the basepaths. Maybe don’t run into stupid outs?
I wondering how far into the season before we find out what's been ailing him
Maybe the Twins’ doctor can ask the Giants while they’re in town.
Heh heh
It's his wrists. His fielding has been superb so his feet and ankles are okay at least.
His sprint speed is 26.6 ft/s this year so below average but not by a lot.
It took 18 batters but the Giants finally have a hit. Very efficient start by Paddack tonight.
Vapor lock for Lewis on some middle-middle cheese.
Okay, wait a minute -- we scored only three runs tonight...and we won?!
Only took five perfect innings.
Paddack looked real good tonight, I remember looking at the scoreboard after six innings and suddenly started dreaming about a complete game. Good crowd, I was working a section behind the Giants dugout so lots of orange and black. I like talking to out of towners, and they almost always compliment the ballpark, like it belongs to me or something. "Nice ballpark you have."" Well, thank you, yes, it is nice, I designed it myself. And I paid for it all, too. Yeah, that's the ticket."
I believe that may have been our fastest game of the season, too, just over two hours.
