Game summary:  Anzoategui scored four in the sixth to take a 6-0 lead.

Caracas:  Josh Kroeger was 3-for-3 with a walk.  Raul Padron was 2-for-4 with a home run.

Anzoategui:  Ramon A. Ramirez pitched 6.1 innings, giving up one run on six hits and three walks while striking out five. Jose Castillo was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

ZULIA 8, MAGALLANES 6 IN MAGALLANES (13 INNINGS)

TwinsDarin Mastroianni (Zulia) was 1-for-6 and scored once.  Deolis Guerra (Magallanes) pitched three perfect innings with three strikeouts.

Game summary:  Magallanes scored in the ninth to tie, but Freddy Galvis (Philadelphia) hit a two-run homer in the thirteenth for Zulia.

Zulia:  Henry Rodriguez (Cincinnati) was 3-for-6 with a walk and scored once.  Galvis was 2-for-6 and scored twice.

Magallanes:  Ezequiel Carrera (Cleveland) was 4-for-6 with a double, a walk, and a two-run homer.  Carlos Maldonado (Washington) was 1-for-4 with a home run and three walks.

Game summary:  Aragua scored four in the fifth to take a 6-4 lead.

Margarita:  Jonathan Herrera (Colorado) was 3-for-5.  Frank Diaz was 1-for-3 with a homer and a walk.

Aragua:  Alex Romero was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer.  Luis Hernandez (Cleveland) was 2-for-4 with a double, scoring twice and driving in three.
