Twins: Oswaldo Arcia (Anzoategui) was 0-for-4. Dakota Watts (Anzoategui) walked two of the three batters he faced and was charged with two runs on no hits in one-third of an inning.
Game summary: Anzoategui scored five in the fourth to take a 6-1 lead. It stayed that way until the eighth, when Magallanes scored six times to take the lead. Mario Lisson hit a three-run homer to put Magallanes in front.
Magallanes: Lisson was 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Reegie Corona was 2-for-4 with a double and a three-run homer.
Anzoategui: Pedro Rodriguez pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks. Omar Infante (Detroit) was 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs.
LARA 6, ZULIA 2 IN LARA
Game summary: Lara broke a scoreless tie with two in the fifth. Each team scored once in the sixth, but Lara got three in the seventh to put it away.
Zulia: Freddy Galvis (Philadelphia) was 2-for-4 with two doubles and scored once. Ernesto Mejia (Atlanta) was 1-for-4 with a home run.
Lara: Nick Green allowed one run on two hits and two walks in 5.1 innings. Luis Valbuena (Cubs) was 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer.
