there is a Timberwolves game tonight. 7pm

they are playing Brooklyn.

The Wolves are in last place in the Northwest Division, yet 10th overall in the West.

fun fact! Sweet Lou Amundson's 'true shooting percentage' ( a measure of shooting efficiency that takes into account 2-point field goals, 3-point field goals, and free throws.) is a .295 . Every time he hoists the ball up toward the basket, there is less than a third of a a chance it goes in.

Lets see if the Wolves can get a victory. As Tom Petty wrote 'even the losers, get lucky sometimes'

  1. playing over the PA system at Target Center during this ref review is Michael Jackson's 'Black or White'

havent heard that song in a while.

  2. I watched the Atlanta game the other day. It really ushered in some mega-apathy, which sucks.

    1. apathy has gotten to me too. the Wolves were not on local tv the last two games and I didnt miss it.

      1. I really hate it because this season had such promise for exciting basketball, yet here we are.

  3. College basketball games are not played under 2 hours anymore. The BTN (along with ESPN) has not learned this yet.

  4. from what I have watched of this game, the refs are giving no calls to the Wolves and are starting to make calls up. Like the ball is deflected off Nets player out of bounds and ball goes to the Nets.

    1. It was fun listening to Barea rack up 5 personal fouls in the fourth quarter, too. Then Porter subbed in Ridnour for Jello-ball instead of taking out JJ and I decided the game was over (maybe three minutes or so left?).

  5. Austin Hollins fouled out at the 11 minute mark
    my goodness
oh look, the whole turnover problem has crept back in.

  6. awesomesauce

Porter said he stuck with JJ because "he got hot." Wanna know who got hot? Rubio. He was none too pleased about sitting.
